Studio Policies

ARTWORK CONDITIONS

Artist Alley is not responsible for the quality of the student’s work. The student’s effort, under the guidance of an Artist Alley instructor, will determine the work’s outcome.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE

$100 annual membership fee is required for all students participating in our classes. This fee is valid for one (1) year. This fee is not required for those who sign up for camps, special events, or birthday parties.

CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR

All students are expected to behave respectfully and courteously toward studio materials, other students, instructors, and staff. Disruptive students will be given a notice, and repeated offenses will result in removal from the class, with no refunds or credits issued.

MANAGEMENT CANCELLATIONS

If a class session is canceled by Artist Alley, either a rescheduled session or an exchange will be offered.

CLASS RESCHEDULING POLICY

If you need to reschedule your class, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled reservation to avoid late cancellation or no-show fees.

  • Late Cancellation or No Show Fees: If you cancel within 24 hours of your class or do not show up, you will be charged the full amount of your class reservation.

  • We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us manage our schedule effectively!

  • Make-ups are NOT guaranteed and are based solely on availability ONLY.

UNENROLLMENT POLICY

If you want to unenroll, you must inform us in writing (via email) no later than the last day of the month to avoid being charged for the following month - no exceptions. All our classes are continuous, and enrollment will roll over each month. THERE IS NO END DATE TO CLASSES, YOUR CHILD WILL CONTINUE TO BE ENROLLED UNTIL YOU UNENROLL THEM.

RETURN & REFUNDS

All payments are FINAL SALE and cannot be refunded or exchanged, with no exceptions.

Photo/Video Release

I, the undersigned, hereby grant permission for Artist Alley LLC, located at 1316 Gaskins Rd, Richmond, VA 23238 (hereinafter referred to as the "Artist Alley"), to take photographs and videos of my child(ren) to promote Artist Alley’s activities. These may include, but are not limited to, use in print, online media, and social media.

I understand and agree that:

Scope of use: Photographs and video footage may be used in promotional, educational, and commercial materials by Artist Alley without further approval from me.


Webcam Surveillance: Artist Alley uses streaming video surveillance within the facility for internal purposes such as training and management.


No Ownership Rights: I acknowledge that I have no rights to any photographs, video footage, or other media, and that I will not be entitled to any compensation for their use.


Consent for Minors: I consent to the use of the image and likeness of my minor child(ren) as part of this release. I understand that I am signing this release on behalf of my child(ren).
